Back in 1924, some of the area’s foremost bakers decided to come together and discuss the happenings of the baking industry. They wanted to know what challenges other bakers were facing, like transportation, new products and automation.

Eventually, these meetings evolved into talks about family and the need to support organizations serving the area’s sick children. It became a regular occasion to raise money for these local charities, a tradition we still have today.
